James H. "Jim" Neuschwander, 90, of Watseka passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 13, 1933 in Dakota, IL, the son of Harold and Alice (Hugelshoffer) Neuschwander. Jim married Nancy Kauth in Streater on June 29, 1958 and she preceded him in passing on November 22, 1988. He later married Delores Webb Hoppel in Donovan on August 11, 1990.
Surviving are his wife, Dee Neuschwander of Watseka; one son, Jeff (Lori) Neuschwander of St. Charles, MO; two daughters, Karen (Brad) Hutchinson of Morton, IL and Sara (Trevor) Hartman of Overland Park, KS; three stepchildren, Fonda Vickery of Athens, TN, Doug Hoppel of Indianapolis, IN, and Jason (Chrissie) Hoppel of Deltona, FL; one sister, Helen Clay of Dakota, IL; eighteen grandchildren, Jordan and Lucas Neuschwander, Marissa Wiegand, Bryce, Kelsi, Dylan, Macie, and Nicole Hutchinson.
