Robert L. Donohue, 98, of Watseka passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at his residence. Bob was born on September 2, 1925 in Oxford, IN, the son of Clarence and Anna Donohue.Mr. Donohue was a veteran of the U.S. Army Corps during World War II. He owned and managed Donohue Fertilizer in Sheldon for fifty-two years. Bob served on the boards of Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association, Shewami Country Club, and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was also a member of St. Edmund Catholic Church in Watseka, Watseka Knights of Columbus #4391, Watseka American Legion Post #23, and Watseka Elks Club.Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce Donohue; ex-wife, Ellaretta Ziemer; two brothers, Bill and Cyril Donohue; one step-daughter, Carol Joan Wollinsky; two brothers-in-law, Frank Donohue and Jack Murray; one sister-in-law, Arlene Donohue; and one step-son in-law, David Phillippe.Surviving him are two sons, Michael (Shirley Stevens) Donohue of Crossville, TN and Joh
