Evan "Jamie" LaVoie, age 56, of Paxton, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. He was born on September 28, 1967, in Watseka, the son of Everett LaVoie and Karen (Perry) Braudrick. Jamie married Anita Odom on September 13, 2014, in Paxton. He is survived by his wife, Anita LaVoie of Paxton; his mother, Karen Braudrick of TX; five children, James Wade LaVoie of Dallas, TX, Jeremy Richard LaVoie of Watseka, Patrick "Rocky" (Jessica) Brown of FL, Spencer Brown of Paxton, and Erica (Paul) Snyder of AR; six grandchildren, Hunter, Landon, Frejya, Ryleigh, Hadley, and Brayden; his sister, Robin Thorne of TX; and half-sisters, Shannon Stott and Katherine Kamrath. He is also survived by his best friend, Chad Keil. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett LaVoie; one son, Aaron Marshall; his brother, Wade LaVoie; half-brother, Luke LaVoie; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
