Frank C. Barnes Jr., 78, of Crescent City passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. He was born on May 9, 1946 in Quincy, a son of Frank C. and Goldie A. (Scudder) Barnes Sr. and they preceded him in death along with one brother and one sister.
Frank married Marlene E. Glueck on November 15, 1973 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Crescent City and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Amy Elizabeth Anne Barnes.
Frank served on the USS Pawcatuck in the United States Navy. Frank worked for many years as a driver's license examiner for the Secretary of State in Watseka.
Private graveside services will be held at the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery near Crescent City with Pastor Bart Koester officiating. Arrangements are by the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
