Randall "Randy" J. Rosenboom, 63, of Herscher passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Northwestern Palos Hospital in Palos Heights. He was born on August 27, 1961 in Kankakee, a son of Russell J. and Marilyn J. (Bass) Rosenboom.
He married Richelle "Shelly" Campe on July 1, 2011 in Herscher and she survives. Also surviving are five children, Jessica Rosenboom of Herscher, Jennifer (Zach) Wainright of Raton, NM, Josephine (Adam) Rood of St. Charles, MO, Jasmine Rosenboom of Newark and Jonathon Rosenboom of Herscher; three step-children, Chris (Kiersten) Shires of Clifton, Arianna (Scott) Melsome of Herscher and Devin (Taylor) Shires of Cabery; five grandchildren, Jay Shires, RJ Wainright, Amelia Shires, Sophia Shires and Natalie Melsome; his parents, Russell and Marilyn Rosenboom of Clifton; and one brother, Rick (Joy) Rosenboom of Clifton.
Randy was preceded in death by one infant sister, Cheryl.
Randy was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Clifton. He was a lifelong farmer
