Elizabeth A. "Bette" Fesselmeyer, 78, of Sheldon passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her residence. She was born on April 19, 1946 in Fairbury, a daughter of William "Sonny" H. and Waltraud "Wally" (Krummel) Lyon III and they preceded her in death. Bette married William Fesselmeyer on October 8, 1966 in Watseka and he survives in Sheldon. Also surviving are one brother, Richard Lyon of Thawville. Bette retired as a legal secretary from Tungate Law Offices. She loved watching NASCAR and enjoyed riverboat gaming. Amongst her greatest treasures were her family and friends. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. A private graveside service will be held at the Ridgeland Twp.
